B M Assaduzaaman Shamim is an immigration and human rights lawyer by background. He has been working for the immigration-based law firm of solicitors; in the UK for about 9 years now. Currently, he works as a Legal Consultant at Chancery Solicitors since 2020 based in London. He had previously worked at Hamlet Solicitors LLP. Mr Shamim completed his accelerated LLB, LLM and BPTC. He was Called to Bar at the Honourable Society of Linoln’s Inn. He is an accredeted Civil Commercial Mediator at ADR ODR and a Professional Mediator at Chancery Solcitors. He was accredeted Mediator at Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI).

Mr Shamim’s areas of expertise are Immigration, Asylum, Nationality and Human Rights law and Judicial Review. He undertakes all sorts of immigration works including preparing all kinds of immigration applications; making Administrative Review applications; preparing Tier 2 sponsorship license applications, challenging suspension/revocation of Tier 2 & 4 licenses; challenging civil penalties; drafting witness statements, pre-action protocols, grounds of appeal / JR; lodging appeals / JR and preparing bundles etc. He also practices Family, Employment, Landlord & Tenant and Civil litigations.
He holds an accelerated Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the BPP University, a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law with Merit from the BPP University as well as Post Graduate Diploma in Law (Bar Professional Training Course).
Further, he has some management Diploma from his workplace at a different NVQ level. It is worth mention that he had passed the IAAS level 1 exam in November 2020.
